Assign Elevations TML
Assigns elevations to 2D contours using 5 different tmls.
- Assign elevations tml gives you a command bar to run 4 other tmls.
- These tmls will give you the tools to convert 2D contour drawings to 3D.
- Over 80% of the contours will be converted with the first two tmls by specifying
the layers of the contour lines and the contour elevation labels.
How to use the Assign elevation tml
After downloading 2dcon.*, conlabz.*, intcon.*,
assignz.* and 3dpl.* to the Terramodel installation folder\Terramodel\tmls
folder, open a Terramodel project and type 2dcon at the command line and
press the < enter > key.
You will see the following:

- Elevation from Labels: This button will run ConLabZ.tml.
This tml uses contour labels to assign elevations to 2D contour lines.

- Interpolate contours: This button will run IntCon.tml.
This tml assigns elevations to 2D contour lines between 3D contour lines.

- Elevation by crossing: This button will run AssignZ.tml.
This tml assigns elevations to 2D contour lines by striking a line across the
contours and assigning the first and last elevations.
