BreakVal.tml
Breaks a pline in a vertical curve.

There are times that you must break a VAL. With the Terramodel commands, you
cannot break a VAL within a Vertical Curve. BreakVal will quickly
break the profile at any station even in a vertical curve.
How to use the BreakVal
command:
After downloading BreakVal.* to the Terramodel installation
folder\Terramodel\tmls folder, open a Terramodel project and type breakval
at the Terramodel command line:

You will see:

- VAL: Select a Vertical Alignment. This must be a pline.
- Station: Type the station at which you desire to break the
VAL. Click the right mouse button for point snaps.
- Labels: If the VAL is labeled, select the layer or layer
list to have BreakVal automatically update the references of
the label text. If the VAL is breaking into two VALs, then the labels defining
the stations for the second VAL will be referenced to the second VAL.
If the Mode is set to Trim, then the labels will be trimmed as well.


- Mode Options:
- Break: This will break the selected VAL creating two VALs.
The original VAL will end at the selected station and a new VAL will begin at
the selected station.
- Trim End: This will trim the selected VAL at the selected
station. The original VAL will end at the selected station.
- Trim Begin: This will trim the selected VAL at the selected
station. The original VAL will begin at the selected station.
- Crack: This inserts a vertex in the the selected VAL at
the selected station.
