NameRP.tml

Assigns a name to all points used as radius points within the selected sets.

NameRP.tml quickly searches the selected sets for radius points, and assigns a name. Usually, radii should not be included in DTM's and often are assigned elevations. Since this command assigns a name to all radius points, you can quickly relayer these points or assign a 2D elevation (*). Finding radius points is impossible without this command.

How to use the NameRP command:

After downloading NameRP.* to the Terramodel installation folder\Terramodel\tmls folder, open a Terramodel project and type namerp at the Terramodel command line:

Terramodel command line.

You will see:

NameRP.tml command bar.

  1. Select the sets.
    • Place the mouse in the graphics area and click the right mouse button. This will bring up all selection options such as window, view, crossing, layer...
  2. Type a name for the radii in the Radius PT Name field.
  3. Click OK to assign the names to the radii.

Note - To relayer all radius points follow these steps:

  1. Run NameRP to assign "RP" to all radius points.
  2. Select ReLayer from the Modify menu.
  3. For the Objs field, place the mouse in the graphics area and click the right mouse button.
  4. Select Name. Then press the spacebar.
  5. Type RP for the Mask field. (This is case-sensitive.) Then click OK.
  6. Assign a layer and click OK.
